The manager here is amazing. They keep this place clean, neat, and quiet. I changed flights, the shuttle was packed and she got me an Uber. That was great service and facilitated my morning flight. Close to the airport, and perfect for an overnight stay after a long flight.

The shuttle was on time. The stay was wonderful. The first room we were given smelled heavily of cigarette smoke and the phone to the lobby didn't work, so when we went down to the lobby they upgraded us to a nicer room and apologized for the inconvenience. The staff could not have been more helpful and courteous.

We did not get the handicap room requested or one near the elevator. We were on the the 3rd floor at the opposite end from the elevator. Our requested non-smoking room smelled like an ashtray. There were suspicious people sitting/ standing around the entrances of the 2 buildings all day and night. It made me nervous and uncomfortable, I didn't feel safe. The in- room phone didn't work. The hairblower fan didn't work, just got extremely hot - potential fire hazard. The wallpaper in the room is peeling. Floor is uneven about 1 inch higher going into the bathroom. Tripped and twisted ankle going in and out of bathroom - safety issue. Dead bolt lock didn't work, it was stuck inside the door - security issue. Room keys were deactivated the day before we checked out and had to go to the front desk in the other building to get a second set of keys. Reported problems all 3 days we were there. On the second day we were told someone would fix the problems. Nobody showed up. I was told to talk with the manager about the problems but he wasn't there. After checking out, I called back 5 times asking for Ajay the manager and left several messages. Every time I called I was told Jay wasn't in. It's been over a week since our stay and I have not heard from Ajay or anyone else.

    1. Did not receive requested room: handicap or one near an elevator or a non-smoking room. Our room was on the 3rd floor at the opposite end from the elevator and smelled of smoke. 2. In-room phone didn't work - broken wire. Used are own personal cell phones to contact the Front Desk. 3. TV remote didn't work, tried 2 remotes, neither one worked. 4. Hairblower fan didn't work, just got extremely hot - POTENTIAL FIRE HAZARD. 5. Dead bolt lock didn't work, stuck inside door - SECURITY ISSUE. 6. De-activated our room keys the day before check-out. 7. Wallpaper peeling in the room. 8. Floor is uneven by about 1 inch. Step entering the bathroom is a trip hazard. I tripped going in and twisted my ankle coming out of the bathroom - SAFETY HAZARD. 9, The Front Desk staff is indifferent and doesn't care what my problems were. I reported problems the 3 days we were there. One male staffer refused to give his name. He said talk to the manager who wasn't there. I found out later that the manager was out of the office for over a week. On the second day they said they would send someone to fix the problems in the room and nobody showed. 10. Since our departure I have called and left messages 4 or 5 times. The manager, Ajay has not returned any of my messages and its been over a week. 11. People sitting/standing around all day and night outside the entrances of the 2 buildings gives you a very uncomfortable feeling like they're going to hit on you.

The hotel provides a central location to all of the boroughs of New York. The on-site parking is a major plus. I feel the Hotel should invest in new pillows. The pillows are flat like a box and caused a knot in my neck. Outside of that the beds we’re comfortable, the rooms were decent and just what’s needed if you are looking for an affordable place to stay and your New York.

I would recommend this Motel to anyone, with a few tweaks it would be a perfect place to most people. Upgrade the TV and Air conditioner, it’s really outdated but overall it still worked. Definitely for the price and neighborhood you cannot go wrong.

As far as I know it is not near any major tourist attractions or any great food except Starbucks. But it suited me fine, as it was affordable, and close (15min. by car) to Long Island Jewish Medical Center. In itself, it is not snazzy, but also not shabby. There is no ornate lobby, but there is a decent dining room. Stairs or elevator. My room was clean and all the furniture and fixtures were in excellent condition. Hot water was prompt.

We were close to family and it was easy to get around., Parking at the motel was ample. We had awesome pizza at a nearby place called Vaccaro's. Queens location good if your purpose is to be in this part of NYC. The motel was clean and comfortable. Free WIFI.
